Groundcovers
Perennial groundcover plants come back year after year and are some of the biggest problem solvers and hardest working plants in the garden. Easy-to-grow, perennial groundcovers are excellent for planting in bare spots. They'll also choke out weeds. In many cases, they reduce time spent weeding and the expense of mulch. Perennial ground-covering plants are excellent choices for planting in challenging areas of the garden and landscape, such as on slopes, between rocks and under trees. Many ground covers are very decorative, providing pretty foliage and flowers. When buying ground-covering perennials for sale online, make sure the plants are suitable for your grow zone. Other factors to consider are their light requirements, soil requirements, water needs, mature height and spread, and flowering time (if applicable).
