Climbing
A favorite among garden designers, climbing roses are useful in a variety of garden settings. They can provide a backdrop for perennial flower gardens or can be used to cover a fence, trellis or arch. They are available in a wide variety of flower colors as well as single or double flower forms. Like other roses, climbing rose plants prefer sunny locations where they receive six or more hours of direct sunlight daily. When considering climbing roses to buy, make sure they will grow in your hardiness zone. Other factors to consider are their mature height and spread, soil requirements, flower color and fragrance.
