More Vegetables
One of the joys of gardening is growing different types of vegetables. Many gardeners try one or two different types every year. Growing vegetables from seeds is very economical, too. When selecting vegetable seed packets to buy, consider the varieties' growing requirements. Most vegetables grow best in full sun, or six or more hours of direct sunlight daily, and in well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Some vegetable seeds are directly sown into the garden soil while others are started indoors and transplanted to the garden. Another consideration is how much space the plants require. Finally, consider what vegetables you like to eat. It's always more fun to grow vegetables you like eating.
