Hard to Find! French Fingerling is highly sought after for its smooth, buttery texture and rich, well-rounded flavor which hints of hazelnut and chestnut. A highly recommended variety which many think is the best tasting fingerling on the market. Excellent for salads and boiling because of its waxy, firm texture. It is a shapely potato with golden brown tubers and yellow flesh. Commands a high price in the restaurant and fresh market trade. 100-120 days. There are approximately 12 potatoes per pound. Can plant whole or cut into 2-3 seed sets. Approximately 12 seed potatoes per pound.
