Honeysweet Pear Tree

Honeysweet Pear Tree

A flavor favorite, Honeysweet Pear bears medium-sized, brown-russet colored fruits with a super sweet, rich and spicy flavor. The smooth, creamy flesh is very aromatic, too. This exceptional pear is excellent for fresh eating, and also a delight when cooked into your favorite dessert or poached. The fruits ripen in late August and keep well in storage. Because it's one of the few self-pollinating pear trees, Honeysweet is a great choice for gardens with limited space. For top fruit production, though, we recommend planting it with another pollinator tree. Zones 5-8.
